Toes, Waist, Celebrate!

Who's seen the Huggies Pull-Ups commercial with the new Potty Dance song?
Well, guess who sings it? RALPH!
What? You don't know Ralph?
Well, don't feel bad, we didn't either
UNTIL we went to the Seattle Pull-ups Potty Dance Party on Thursday!
It was SOOOO much fun!
We even got to meet Ralph himself!
He was SUPER nice! (p.s. Mak's face was painted like a monster... more on that further down!)
He met with all the kids, he even signed a copy of his CD for Makayla and Oscar.
And I LOVE his songs! Great for kids!
Jordan got pulled up on stage to help with an alphabet song.
He's the one in the WSU sweatshirt... in case you were wondering
:-)
But Makayla wouldn't let her Dad outshine her...
When they asked for kids to come up, she headed for the limelight too!
She might have been a little intimidated at first...
But she started following the songs and dancing too!
Even shaking her maraca!
And dancing with some of the dancers!

After the concert she got her face painted.
Like a monster of course!
While her face was getting painted a couple kids nearby told their mom that's what they wanted on their faces too... but she didn't think monster children were "appropriate".
Silly, I know :-)
Makayla LOVED it though! She stared and STARED at herself in the mirror, and EVERY mirror we passed all day too! But then again, she does make a super cute monster!
Oscar didn't get his face painted, but he did get some "monster loving" from his big sister and the make-up rubbed off on him! That's the smudges on his nose and cheek, in case you couldn't tell :-)
We also got to play in the Pacific Science Center ALL DAY FOR FREE!
It was a BLAST! And I can't wait to go back! (with a stroller next time, I was gaining too many free things and felt like a pack horse!)
Makayla loved it too! She was really into "what's that!" and getting so excited when we told her. She also would repeat the bone names that Jordan told her in her cute little voice!
But then, we DO watch "Bones" a lot :-)
She's my little monster/princess anthropologist!
There were so many things to do and see and so many pictures to take!
There was a really neat maze for kids to play in and find animals in too!
Makayla didn't quite understand the "maze" part of it and totally cheated by climbing over the walls when she got stuck! My little problem solver!
And Jordan blew some pretty BIG bubbles with this giant bubble maker!
It was SOOO much fun! I loved it! The concert was great, the free diapers were AMAZING, the snacks/face painting/caricature drawings/free goody bags were all an added bonus!
Then the day spent playing at the science center was GREAT!
What a good day to learn the Potty Dance!
