I keep thinking I'll get caught up one post at a time,
but time keeps slipping by, and between sewing A LOT,
running around with the kids,
and playing lots and LOTS of Disney movies for Makayla
I just don't have time or energy to pick and choose pictures and stories.
Sorry folks,
but that's the facts.
So here is the last little bit of my life in review.
And in no particular order.
:-)
Enjoy!
Oscar is sitting up pretty well now.
Well enough to enjoy a ride in the 25 cent car at the mall
whew, and Makayla LOVES those rides!
Me too, 25 cents and 5 minutes of happy toddler? THANK YOU!
Oh and by the way, her GORGEOUS hair bow is curtesy of Sasserella Boutique
Love it so much, I steal it from her so I can wear it sometimes ;-)
Love this little guy.
He is discovering new things all the time.
Like his feet. And whatever he can grab at.
Cutest ever chair that I would TOTALLY own if I didn't move so much
... and Jordan would let me purchase something that he would consider so silly :-)
And of course, Makayla would get the matching pink one!
Nicole graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in teaching!
I am SO proud of her! How cool is THAT! I mean really!
You can't tell, but Nicole is almost SMACK DAB in the center of this picture.
See the guy with the white collar, in the center? Nicole is just to the left of him,
with the long hair, next to the girl with blond hair...
no really, I SWEAR that's her!
Anyway, still SO proud of her!
Oscar has taken up blogging in my absence.
He is much more computer savvy than I am.
Makayla fell asleep while I was grocery shopping.
Funny thing was, she is the one who grabbed the pull-ups to sleep on.
Smart girl.
Nicole came and lived with us for a week.
It was SO much fun, and I wish she could have stayed longer!
I loved having her around, and the kids just ADORE their Aunt "Cole"
Oh, I miss her so much already!
Makayla is just so darn cute.
Here, you get TWO adorable pictures for the price of one!
Just look at that great oral hygiene, and that sense of style :-)
And Jason is now OFFICIALLY a Washington State Trooper!
He looks SOOOO cool in his uniform! And I think it is the COOLEST thing EVER
that he is a trooper! Really, SO proud of him! And so proud and thankful for Stacey and Andrew and all they did to help him get there including going for days without him while he was at boot camp! Seriously, what an amazing family I married into! I just LOVE them!
And Oscar, what a sweet heart! Makayla has always told me to "stop singing" from the moment she could say it! :-( She loves dancing, but not so much my singing! LOL! But Oscar, LOVES music so much! He even likes my singing! He will smile at me when I sing, or even join in! Someday, if I am brave enough to post my singing, I'll try to get a video of him "singing" it is ADORABLE! So here he is, playing with the tambourine, well trying to anyway. He's still working on that hand-eye coordination thing ;-)
So you see, I HAVE been busy.
Sorry I haven't been keeping more up to date.
But this should be everything!
Now we are UP TO DATE!
And we can go along with our regularly (irregularly) scheduled posting!
Have a happy weekend!
Love, love, love your kids. Makayla is such a sweetie and Oscar is so squeezable! I just want to squish the stuffing out of them both! P.S. I noticed the time of your post...tisk, tisk. A mom without her husband must get as much sleep as possible, even when your bed is empty. Tonight, go to bed with your kids. ;D Love ya!
ReplyDeleteYou are the best blog commenter ever. I love you. Every comment makes me so happy. And just because they make me so happy, I am going to respond to each of your comments in a separate comment. :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog does have word verification. Tsk tsk tsk!
ReplyDeleteSam thanks you for the happy birthday wishes. Even though they were belated. :)
ReplyDeleteUsing the pull-ups is brilliant! Next time we go shopping, I am climbing into the cart and sleeping on the diapers while Sam finishes the shopping.
ReplyDeleteI love catch up posts. I need to do one of those. I am getting so far behind.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love Old Navy? Sam and I went there last week. I got two shirts, he got two shirts and two pairs of jeans. It cost $40! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for complimenting the Aspen Grove post. That took me over 20 hours. Seriously. I wanted to die. So thank you so much for commenting. I almost cried I was so happy. It is really sad that you had to miss your family reunion last summer. I wouldn't say the Akron Office was worth it. Hehehe...
