A sunny day to play

Contrary to my blogging, we have NOT been getting a lot of sun here lately.
But when we do... we have LOVED EVERY SECOND!
I needed to go to downtown Seattle last saturday, so we stopped by the Seattle Center and it's big square of "anything you want to do, we got it" -ness..?
or just the most fun you can have in one day in Seattle place :-)
They have a huge fountain in one of the parks.
And by huge I mean HUGE!
It's set down in a giant bowl arena with 2 walkways heading down to it.
Sometimes the water can be blown, and hit all the nice onlookers sitting up at the top.
Oh and by the way, where Makayla and I are standing for the pictures, not the top.
The people in the background are only standing on one of the walkways.
The people up in the grass/shade are the ones on the top of the little amphitheater/fountain

For some reason she wasn't a big fan of getting all wet though
:-(
Sad to see my little girl grow up and stop loving water fountains.
Remember when all she wanted to do was run in the fountain in LA?

Turns out, she didn't want to get wet in her clothes, she wanted to go swimming in her swim suit. Well, our pool is still closed due to a "technical difficulty" so we went to the next best thing, the water park near out apartments! :-)

As you can see... Oscar thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Really he did though.
I just couldn't get a picture of it, because I had to hold him in the water.
Turns out, like his sister, he's a big fan of water :-)

After a lot of running in the water, she played at the non-water park next to it.
Love her in her swimsuit.
It just makes me smile
:-)

  2. I love that swimsuit too! Darling! Tyler does the same thing, we have a water park next to a reg. park and he wants to be dry there. Silly thing. we just stick to the pool for hot days! Hey, are you moving in the next 2-3 days? I can always send priority and get it there fast. What's your plan? Do you know when you are going or where? Good luck with the move!
