Did you know that it is REALLY hard to get a picture of babies together once they become mobile? It's true. Here is our attempt to get the three babies together when we went to Beaver Dick Park in Rexburg, ID.
A side note, Reuben is the one on the left... you know, the leg crawling away ;-)
Kate is in the middle, and my poor immobile Oscar is on the right.
This was a happy fluke, too bad nobody's looking at the camera!
John and Sam thought it would be great to make giant mud pies
Then SMASH their faces into it!
I'll admit it was pretty funny from our end
But the mud smells kind of funky there, so there was a quick wash up after :-)
Oscar tried to join in the fun by eating a bunch of mud himself.

But it was fun watching Sam and John leap into the river too.
They are far more brave than I am!

that both kids CRASHED as soon as we got home!

Oh how fun! It is still amazing to me that I have lived here nearly my whole life and there are so many local places I have never been to!
ReplyDeleteA color walk: I let the kids color the inside of an egg carton (one color per space) with markers, crayons, or paint. Whatever I have the patience for. Then we go outside and find things that match those colors. It's pretty fun!
Oscar is getting so big! I didn't even think that was him! I love the picture of Makayla asleep at the table. Adorable.
