Drama Queen

Makayla is our little drama queen (wonder who she gets that from!) I am amazed by her everyday!
She loves to sing! Sometimes she is singing songs from her favorite cartoons and sometimes she just makes them up as she goes along! I love it!
She is also getting so smart! We have been doing "preschool" every week day for 30 min and she is getting really good at doing work sheets like drawing a line from one object to a similar object, search and finds, and starting to count! She still has trouble recognizing any letter (except "O") but she can sing the entire alphabet song by herself!
She can also count to 15! (When she wants to!)
She is mostly potty trained, but still has the occasional accident, then there are those frustrating days where she has accidents all day, despite also making it to the toilet! But she is still young and it's a work in progress (at least that's what I keep telling myself!)
She LOVES being a big sister! She takes care of Oscar, whether we want her to or not! She is the first one to get to him when he wakes up, she tries to feed him and lately she has taken to trying to change his diapers! (A few disastrous attempts!) Oscar adores her too and puts up with almost everything she does to him with a smile! They both love jumping on pillows, so Makayla steals all the pillows off the couch and Mommy's bed, then piles them on the floor in front of the couch and the two of them just flop and roll and laugh till I have to take a break from all their noise! :-)
If either of them wake up cranky, all they need to do is see the other and they are instantly smiles! I love my kids and pray every day that they stay as close as they are now!
