Blessings

Can I tell you what a blessing it is to have my kids get a long so well. I hope it lasts forever for them, because they really and truly love each other so much and enjoy spending time together! That's not to say they never fight, or that Makayla hasn't started asking for a little sister (who asked her!) But they get along so well it makes my heart happy!

Can I tell you now how crazy last week was?
Wow, last week was CRA-ZY! Seriously! I dog-sat 2 "interesting" dogs all week. Honestly they weren't horrible, except that they whined and scratched all night :-P or the fact that we've discovered Oscar has a slight allergy to them. He started out monday healthy, by tuesday he was VERY stuffy, wednesday you could hear the poor guy breathing, thursday his little chest was rattling, friday the dog's owners FINALLY came and got them, after a "little talk" with Jordan about being late in getting them, and saturday Oscar was all cleared up and healthy again! Guess there goes my argument for owning a dog sometime in the future :-( but Makayla is also slightly, deathly afraid of dogs. Really. She spent the whole week sitting on the back of the couch. But THAT is only part of our crazy week, I'm also kind of "working" again answering phones and gathering paperwork. Not a lot to do, but for some reason they always seem to know when I'm at the library!
Also, on friday we moved apartments. Same complex, same building, only instead of our spacious 3 bedroom, facing the grassy knoll on the first floor... We are now on the third floor overlooking the parking lot in a 2 bedroom :-P
Happy thoughts about that... The carpet here was toddler free so it's REALLY clean still (we'll see how long I can keep it that way!) And I can tell Jordan I "worked out" every time I have to take more than one trip up the stairs carrying things :-)
I do miss having a toy room, but such is life! And I am enjoying the unpacking process of cleansing items again, not that after almost 2 months, there was much to cleanse ;-)
So we are without internet for a week again and I cannot say enough things about how annoyed I am at Qwest and the fact that I have to wait for their "guy to drive up from Vegas" on friday :-P Pooey on you Qwest! And living in a city that isn't a city, in the middle of the desert is taking some adjusting.
But like I said, there are a LOT of kids here, and moms MY age! Woohoo!
PLUS Mak starts dance tomorrow! SO extremely excited. I think the ladies at the reception desk of her studio think I'm off my rocker because I kept telling them I was too excited... But whatever, I AM!
On a final note, I keep thinking I never have anything to do, yet somehow I am always behind or too busy... Go figure!

  2. Little sister! Little sister! I vote with Makayla! But you're probably thinking, "Who asked her?" about me as well. Whoops.

Is Jordan EVER home?! Sheesh. Is he planning to sell security systems forever, because that's a pretty crappy job. Good money, terrible hours.

  5. What the crap?! Qwest must be tracking their name. That is really creepy though!

Sorry I hugged you when we saw you in St. George! I totally should have just fist bumped you. I just feel rude doing that. But now that we have it established, fist bump it is. :)
