I've always known kids were messy.
There are 6 kids in my family.
And Makayla can make QUITE the mess when she wants to.
But with Oscar it seems like I am CONSTANTLY following him around
and picking up the lastest drawer/box/jar/thing that he has emptied.
He is a one-baby emptying machine!
Ex: A box of sandwich bags.
Previously new and unopened
Has now become this...
At least HE looks happy, you should see my face :-(
A box of Cheerios...
Qtips, snacks, pajama drawer,
you name it, he has emptied it.
I've decided to start taking pictures
Because then I can kind of see the "cute" in it
And be less annoyed by the "mess" it is.
I fear this will be the first of many posts
following the boy's destructive habits.
*UPDATE*
Since I posted this,
he's dumped out an entire box of kix
emptied all of my cupboards of pots and pans,
AND
dumped out all my makeup :-P
I know what you're thinking, but all the doors are closed,
he gets help from his "partner in crime"

Oh my heck!!! I'd be going crazy. Way to try to find the "fun" in it all though. :)
ReplyDeleteAlex and Oscar would be great friends. Our house always looks like a disaster in the background of pictures because Alex is excellent at pulling things out and scattering them. Seriously, he is a Pro Scatterer.
ReplyDeleteDon't hold your breath for Sam to get a job in St. George. I don't think they really have many opportunities for HR there. At least not with big corporations. Sorry! You will just have to move wherever we are! I will tell Sam to make sure it is still a little ghetto so Jordan will be able to sell security there.
ReplyDeleteThere actually weren't any mean/big/loud kids at the jump place in the mall! It was amazing! I was really surprised. There were a few other kids there but they played on the bigger toys. And when they did come around Alex, they were very nice to him. I was glad. I wouldn't want to have to give any mom a beat down in front of her child.
Your comment about everything that went wrong for you guys... holy smokes! I am so sorry. I now feel like I have the best life ever. We've never had to let Alex run around naked and pee wherever he wants. I need to work on my food storage again. You just scared me!
I am going to try to write a few more pregnancy letters this time. I don't have good ideas though. I used them all last time.
