Here we go driving across the country again,
but this time the first day was SO tiring!
Maybe it was because Jordan thought we should leave at 4am
After a night of the kids not letting us sleep,
Or maybe it was just the way the cards fell,
But we were SO TIRED!
So we took an afternoon break for Jordan to sleep.
In case you didn't know, that is UNHEARD of for Jordan to stop!
Flashback to 7 (and then again 9) months pregnant driving across the country
(Florida to Washington, then back... see ACROSS the country!)
And I could NOT get him to stop and let me pee, let alone sleep or eat!
(p.s. he DID stop in the middle of nowhere Kansas, let me pee by the side of the road at an exit where there was NOTHING once :-P If that counts)
So the fact that he stopped to sleep was AWESOME!
Mak and I took a walk through a field and found this awesome rundown
ie fallen down
barn and took some pictures!
I forgot how much I miss the mountains since moving away from Teton Valley!
The view was breath-taking!

Of course, Makayla had to bring her duck.
It hasn't left her side for very long since she was born.

Then we walked around the town and found this little side street.
SO adorable!
Too bad I can't talk Jordan into moving here :-)
After Jordan's nap we drove to Denver so that one of Jordan's reps
(driving our car for us so I didn't have to! Thank you!)
could visit his sister for a bit.
So while he visited her, we visited an old friend...
Mr Chuck E Cheese.
The kids had a BLAST of course.
I'm pretty sure this was our best/easiest trip across the country thus far
(minus being so tired at the beginning)
We have never stopped so often! It was AWESOME!
We spent the night on the east side of Denver,
and the next morning headed to St Louis!
More pictures of THAT part still to come!
Happy Driving :-)
Very good picture taking! :) Glad you all made it safe and happy.
