We became hooked on Avatar; The Last Airbender cartoon series thanks to a friend and the wonderful world of netflix instant viewing! (If you haven't watched it yet, you should! a-MAZ-ing cartoon!)
Makayla got into markers and pens one day and I came into her room to find that she had drawn "arrows" on her arms and forehead so she could be an air-bender too.
Another time she stomped around the house saying she was "earth-bending"! Most of the time she just twirls and waves her hands making wind noises though.
True to Makayla form though, she was totally shy when she first met Aang and could barely shake his hand! After standing around for a while though she started to get more and more excited until she finally showed him her air-bending skills! It was so cute!
Even Oscar got into the action and started high-fiving people and going "whoosh" when he did ;-)

ReplyDeleteThat Aang is quite frightening looking. I can't lie; if I were to run into him in a public place I would run the opposite direction. And here you are, making Makayla hug him. ;)
