Oscar is in love with the Little Einsteins... Like IN LOVE, in love with them. He even dreams about them. I know this because in the middle of the night we'll hear him call out "Little Einsteins... Little Einsteins!" Then, back to silence. So cute and so bizarre!
So of course for Halloween oscar had to be Leo, and Makayla wanted to be June, because she's the dancer (and Mak is BEGGING for dance class again!) She even had a little black wig and everything.
I don't want to sound like a bragging parent or anything, but the girl still looks cute brunette too ;-)
We had a blast visiting some family friends, then trick or treating up a couple streets near Jordan's parents house. Oscar was a little more on the ball for saying "trick or treat" than Makayla was, but she was better at saying thank you, so it was an even tradeoff.
The kids were done WAY before I was, but it was cold, so we headed back to their Grandparents house (that we trick or treated about 4 times!) For some jack o'lantern pizza from Papa Johns.

Best part...
Lots and lots and LOTS of candy! That so far I have been really good about not finishing the whole bag in one week ;-)

Sounds like a fun halloween! My boys were also pooped out before I wanted to be done, but it was still fun. I want to see their costumes! You should have them play dress up in them and take a picture so we can see how cute they were!!

ReplyDeleteEdison really needed a haircut. I knew it, Sam knew it. It was more that he was so young, not that we didn't want it to look good.
Hilarious that Makayla thinks every neighborhood is ours. If only you came into our neighborhood more often! That would be awesome!
