Day one; Magic Kingdom

Jordan's sister Nicole was coming to visit us and we decided to go to Disney World!

She was flying in on friday, so we were going to check out the sites in Atlanta, then head down to Orlando on saturday... but...

Well we were so excited to go to Disney that we left about 5 hours after she landed :-)

It was a LONG drive with the kids, but thankfully they slept pretty well.

And Makayla didn't have a single accident on the WHOLE drive!

We had her in pullups just in case, but she never needed them!

We were so proud of her!

We got to our hotel at about 2 in the morning

But the next day we still got up (told you, exCITed!)

Jordan's mom made Makayla a GORGEOUS Princess and the Frog dress patterned after the blue dress she was wearing the first time she met Prince Navine. So we HAD to see Princess Tianna first! And Oscar was wearing his Prince Navine shirt and frog hoodie!

Makayla was pretty excited to meet Princess Tianna in the flesh!

And Prince Navine was pretty excited to see someone dressed up like HIM for a change too!

They were so sweet to the kids, and talked with them for quite a while! I think the people behind us were getting antsy! But Prince Navine just didn't want to let Oscar go!

...I think there's kids in the future for these two! ;-)

While the big kids (aka Jordan and Nicole) went off to ride the mountains in frontier land (splash mountain and big thunder mountain railroad) I took the kids to see the Country Bear Jamboree! The kids LOVED it! Makayla and Oscar were both pointing out each new bear that appeared from behind the curtain! Then we watched the 3:00 parade, and rode on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. Makayla thought it was great going up, but she never wanted to come down!

Off to Cinderella's Carousel!

Makayla even got to ride CINDERELLA'S HORSE!

You can tell Cinderella's horse from the others by the golden ribbon on it's tail!

We did so many things that day it was hard to get a photo of everything!

Makayla's favorites were the shows, she had a blast in Mickey's Philharmagic, an interactive 3D show with Mickey and Donald and lots of Disney classics thrown in! She also loved dancing in the Magical Tiki room with all the birds :-) We blasted aliens on Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin and I got to ride Space Mountain! My first roller coaster in almost 4 years!

Makayla was also featured on the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! She was so cute up on the big screen! waving and playing peek-a-boo!

One of my favorite memories from the day was while waiting for the Electrical Night Parade.

Some one spilled some popcorn next to the hopscotch tree and Makayla thought it was Christmas! She ran over and started grabbing up popcorn as fast as she could eat it!

HAHAHA! She IS her father's daughter!

The best part was, when she shared to find with the other kids too! Some parents were mortified, but we had seen the popcorn spill, and she was just too cute and let's face it, I was laughing too hard and trying to get a good picture to yell at her to stop :-)

I thought DisneyLand last year was a blast with Makayla, but the older she gets the more amazing it is! I can't wait till Oscar knows the characters and movies too!

And this was only day ONE!
