Update on Oscar

I realized I haven't done very many Oscar posts lately.

So here's my little man.

Ok, so you can't see him very well, just his sister,

But really, that's who he is following about 80% of the time.

And she's the one who helped him into the cupboard anyway!

He can climb stairs now really well,

and is even learning how to go down them,

or standing at the top and yelling for me to help him

He LOVES baths! He is a total water baby (like his big sis!)

And would spend all day in there if I let him!

He Loves to fill and empty things too.

He has an old baby shampoo bottle that he loves to fill...

(especially all the bubbles it makes!)

Then he pours it out and LAUGHS!

The other day, Mak found a bag of Candy Hearts in my purse

and threw them EVERYwhere! No really, EV-E-RY-WHERE!

Oscar was pretty excited about the whole thing.

When you say "smile" and hold up a camera,

he totally winks at you.

What a FLIRT!

I just ADORE my little guy!

He gives hugs and kisses now and I LOVE them!

He is SUCH a tease!

When you tell him to stop doing something,

(like throwing things out of your grocery cart while shopping)

He winks at you, then holds it out over the edge and says

"uh-oh, UH-oh!"

Until you grab it out of his hands, then he LAUGHS and does it again!

When he is done eating, he'll start throwing food on the floor

Then point to it and say

"uh-oh, trouble!"

He still loves blowing raspberries,

but now if he finds bare skin anywhere,

he'll tickle you and say

"tck tck tck"

We let him pick out a toy at Target the other day

and he picked out a football.

Now he carries it around and says

"football, go"

Then he'll throw it and point at where it landed for you to go get it.

Can we say quarterback?

Hmmm.... we thought we were raising a kicker ;-)

If you say "Oscar Monster!"

He'll start growling and chase you around.

Whenever I'm on the computer (like now)

He pulls out Mak's little laptop

And sets it up next to me and types away.

He is still a cuddler,

and even though I am EXHAUSTED and CRANKY

because he still wants to sleep with me half way through the night

When he wakes up and sleepily climbs onto my chest

then puts his little hands around my neck to hug me

and falls back asleep,

there is no better feeling in the world.
