Need a "Makayla-fix"?
Yeah me too. This girl makes me smile everyday.
Here I am trying to take a picture of her brother and his new bib (it's a bowtie!) so she grabs a bib herself and jumps in to the picture! Never to be outdone, she LOVES being the center of attention (not at all like her mama ;-P) But she is also gracious BEHIND the scenes too, and pulls out her toy camera to take pictures of me and Oscar as well!
This has been her room in St Louis
I know, it's kind of small as far as rooms go.
But it's big as a closet!
Because really, that's what it was intended for ;-)
But Makayla has loved it!
When her Dad brought home some animal crackers she had a BALL setting them up and telling us which animal was which and what noise they make. She is so smart when it comes to animals! I mean how many 2 year old know that a giraffe makes a "low bleating sound, like a sheep" or know the difference between where a hippopotamus and a rhinoceros live? (she says swimming hippos and desert rhinoceros, cute!)
Then she found the head of an animal cracker and got QUITE upset.
"I can't find the body! Mama! I can't find the body!"
So I came to help her, but all we could come up with where his "shoes"
Yep, that's what she called the 2 feet we found!
Unfortunately for the rest of the day I kept finding animal crackers "playing" around the house.
We forgot to tell her she could EAT them!
She thought they were just toys!
That is so funny!! Tyler always asks me what a giraffe says and I say I don't know!! that's good to know, so a low bleeting sound like a sheep, huh... I need a demonstration.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are TOO CUTE!!
If she was so concerned about the one missing its body, I can't really see her going for eating them. I guess I was a twisted child because I always bit off their heads first.
ReplyDeletethat is so so adorable!! what a smartie! and oscar has grown up so much!! time flies!
