Going to the Zoo with Daddy

We went to the Zoo again!

This time with Jordan, and even though it was HOT,

we had a BLAST! Again! I love this Zoo and will be sad when we leave :-(

In the meantime, it's free entertainment for the kids!

And whenever we go, they sleep REALLY well that night ;-)

Makayla had so much fun going with her Daddy!

She would run from exhibit to exhibit yelling

"Daddy! Look at this! Look here Daddy! C'mon! Look at this Daddy!"

It was SUPER cute!

And Oscar was just excited to stretch his legs a bit!

I just can't believe how fast he is growing! It seems like they stay little for so long, and the next thing you know, they are learning to do something different every day!

I am excited for each of his new stages, but sad to see my baby grow :-(

This picture just CRACKED ME UP! I kept waiting for the branch to break!

In case you can't tell, one lion is sleeping under the tree,

and the other one in sleeping IN the tree! HA!

Makayla got "ran over" by a little boy and conked her head on the sidewalk pretty hard.

But Jordan swooped in and grabbed her out of the mass of people and carried her to a bench.

So now she keeps telling me (a week later!) that

"A boy hit my head, but Daddy picked me up. He saved me."

I just love her and how she sees the world!
