After almost a week of being stuck inside (ok, only 3 days, but that's a LOT for us outside-y types!) we decided we were going to go out in style! So off we headed to the local Chuck E Cheese!
We ran into Chuck E Cheese himself too! Oscar noticed him first from across the room and started pointing and making noise as he slowly walked toward him. I didn't realize what he wanted at first until Mak ran up to the Chuckster screaming "Chuckey!" and gave him a big ol' rat sized hug! Oscar wouldn't hug him, but he was also smiling the whole time!
We also ate a lot of pizza. :-) I know it's not the best pizza, but after being sick and starving it was AWESOME!
I splurged and got the kids souvenier mugs, which they are still carrying everywhere. Whether or not there's anything in them :-)
Makayla was so happy to be out, she was dancing! We played and played and played for about 5 hours. Yes, it was that awesome. And then the coolest staff EVER at a Chuck E Cheese (no really, I have never been at a Chuck E Cheese where the ENTIRE staff was HAPPY and helpful and actually acted like they liked their job! We will DEFinitely be going back!) gave my kids extra prizes from the prize counter! Sersiously? Yes. I love Chuck E Cheese!
Oh and in OTHER awesome-ly amazing news....
Presenting HAILEY! My new niece! Isn't she a-DOR-able!!!!!
Can you guess who's baby she is? I'll give you a hint, there's only one family in my family that has babies with THIS much hair (:-P) That's right, John and Heather welcomed their second adorable little girl this month on monday! Wish I was in Idaho so I could hug and hold her to pieces! LOVE her already!
