Oscar is amazing at figuring things out. If you start getting ready to leave the house (get your purse, put your shoes on...) He'll run to the closet and grab his shoes, then go around and grab shoes for everyone (so helpful!) Oscar LOVES airplanes! He hears them coming and starts pointing to the sky "ah-puh, ah-puh" and when we went to the kids museum the gian airplane you could climb in was by far his favorite place!
Oscar shares everything he has! All you have to do is ask and he gives it to you! Food, toys, (something he shouldn't have...) Whatever it is he shares, BUT you have to ask, if you just take it he's VERY upset!
Jordan always brings home random things he finds on the ground at work for the kids. Most of the time it's change and he holds it out for the kids. If Makayla gets there first she takes all she can fit in her hands, but if Oscar gets there first, he only takes one for each hand (never too greedy that one!)
They fight like siblings but they also love like brother and sister and best friend. Oscar follows Makayla around and copies her, or does what she asks, or puts on a show with her. I love watching them!
Oscar is also getting into his "terrible 2" stage. A little early? Yeah, I think so too! :-P But suddenly he screams! And it is a little overwhelming for me. When my kids act up at the store, someone nice always turns to talk to them and say "why are you so sad?" that usually quiets them down quickly BUT lately... Oscar just looks at them and yells! So instead of getting a cute conversation and feeling like they are helping a bedraggled mom (ie; me) they get screamed at by a toddler. It's a little embarrassing, and frustrating and more than a little annoying! But apparently he's a screamer! We are definitely working on that!
I feel like even as a baby, Oscar looked like Oscar. Maybe that's another reason it's so unbelievable that's he's getting so close to toddler! Mak looked so different as a baby, than she does now. But looking over a few pictures of Oscar at 6 months old, he looks exactly the same! (Minus a little hair...)
He is my little cuddler as always. And I love my little man! I love putting him in tie's and polo's and dressing him up. Who would have thought?
