My Little Girl

I know I just did an update on both kids, but can I just take a second and tell you how much I love my daughter? And how fast that second goes by as she is growing up before my eyes! I remember carrying her to bed after she fell asleep in my arms, so tiny and fragile! Now when I move her from my bed (where she always falls asleep, and then somehow even though I move her, always wakes up...) to her bed, she drapes over my arms, tall and thin and growing. Her hair, that I used to pray would grow long enough for those ridiculous pigtails that stuck straight up, no reaches down to the small of her back. And she tells me not to cut it, because it's magical, like Rapunzel's and she wants it to reach the door.
She is my daughter, through and through. One harsh word (even if it's stop beating your brother) sends her to tears. If you are crying though, she will come over, give you a hug and tell you that "it's ok, you don't have to cry, I'm here and I'll hold you" She begs everyday to go to SeaWorld, or Disney World. She is fiercely protective of her little brother and knocked a kid over at the park after he had pushed Oscar down. (I know, not the right message... But still very cute!) She teaches him how to "be her puppy" and also how to get dressed, how to climb up stairs and how to play pretend and put on shows.
She loves to pick out her own clothes, from the store, to what's in her drawers, if she doesn't like she will just say "uhm, no thanks. How about THIS one, it's so cute!"
She adores babies and keeps asking for a baby sister, but in the meantime has lots of babies to "take care" of in the form of her dolls and toys. If she finds a rock, or piece of trash, it is automatically given a name, a blanket and a place to sleep.
She tells me she misses dancing and that she just needs to dance, her "bones need to dance".
I love her more than I could ever say.
And I am so grateful she still loves to cuddle with me and that she wants me to play with her, hold her, read her stories and just hang out. Everyone she meets is "her favorite friend" but there are only 4 people in the world that she says "I love you, I love you, I LOVE YOU TO PIECES" to. And I'm one of them and that has made all the difference in my life.
