At the mall that is across the street from us they have a kids club called Short Pump Pals and the first tuesday of every month they doing something extra and fun for the kids.
This particular month was a music show starring "Betsy Q"
(on a side note... I found one of her cd's at the library the other day... go figure)
We met up with our friends the Galgraith's
The kids had a blast dancing along to her music... or just to the beat of their own drum
Because really, more often than not they were just playing with each other, not paying attention to the songs ;-)
Then they were all picked to help her out with a song about growing flowers.
Our kids are in the bottom of the picture, that's Betsy Q standing over them
...a little "witchy" for young kids... but her songs were fun and upbeat!
They did pretty good going up and down for the most part.
To be fair, the kids on the ground were related to Betsy Q, so they had prior knowledge of the songs motions... just saying...

I love free stuff that entertains my children :-)
I took Alex to something like this before and he just stared at the people the whole time like they were all crazies.
