Makayla is growing up funny

Here are some funny stories I need to write down before I forget!

Makayla went up to Jordan a couple weeks ago and asked him if she could go to ballerina school so she could learn to twirl and dance. Then she proceeded to jump and twirl and dance all over the apartment with cries of "look Daddy! Watch this!" And "Look at me now Daddy!" Until he HAD to say yes to Ballet!

Makayla was playing in the blinds in the living room (a big no no!) And Jordan told her to get out of them. She came back with "I am making a dress with the blinds Daddy! I have to touch them!"

Jordan was going to throw a ball at me while I was sewing and this is the conversation I heard between Jordan and Makayla
Jordan-Should I throw this at Mama?
Makayla-Yes!
Jordan-I don't know, she might get mad...
Makayla-It's ok Daddy, you're a good boy, you can throw it!
Jordan-Maybe you should throw it for me, I'll give you a piece of chocolate
Makayla-(laughing hysterically)YES!
She does, he gives her a little piece
Makayla-this is so little! I need a big piece!
Jordan-But you are a little girl
Makayla-(best annoyed teenage voice) DDAAAAADDD! I go in the potty like a big girl! I get dressed like a big girl and I help clean like a big girl, I need BIG chocolate!
Smart girl!

I have a bottle opener on the bottom of a pair of flip flops I own, and since we are constantly losing our hand bottle openers, it REALLY comes in handy.
Jordan asked Makayla to get him a beer from the fridge and she came back with a beer and HER shoe, so he could open it! It was pretty cute!

Makayla is having trouble with pedaling her tricycle forward, so she told Jordan yesterday, "My bike needs new batteries! It's broken!"

Makayla didn't want to come home from the store yesterday, so I told her we were going to see Daddy and she said "Oh, he's my favorite friend!"

We love our little girl and are thankful everyday that she came to our family!
