On the Road

The set up: we stopped early in the morning (aka still night) for Jordan to sleep a little. The kids both woke up and we played in the truck quietly so Daddy could sleep. Later on that day Makayla woke up after a nap and Jordan was awake and driving. Mak said "oh no Daddy's sleeping!" I said, "no daddy's awake he's driving" Mak, "oh good! Oscar's sleeping." Oscar made a noise, and I said "No, he's awake too, we're all awake" Mak "oh, ok that's good"

Driving through a mountain pass, the really windy kind where straight ahead is a mountain, then you turn. Mak: "AHHH! Daddy we're going to crash! Turn up, turn up!"

Mak: "Daddy, can I drive now? I'm a really good driver! I never crash!"

The kids have been cute on the drive so far. And are so excited about all of the snow around us now. Every time we let them out they run straight to puddles and piles of snow. What's cute for them, is cold for us!

Makayal was making monster faces for us to take pictures of, and when I turned my phone camera to Oscar and said, make a face! He winked! What a little flirt!
