It's Never Too Hot for Leg Warmers

I'm not going to lie. I'm really proud of these. They turned out really well and weren't that hard to make! Both things I adore.
If you know how to crochet it's really easy. Just start by chaining 9. Then Single Crochet in the second from the hook and each chain in the row (total 8) chain 1 & turn.
SC in the back loop of the previous row (8 sc) chain 1 & turn.
Repeat the last row until it fits around your calf, or thigh. However high you want it to go. Then attatch by sc in the back loop, AND the first row. (This makes the cuff) I did 30 rows for an 18 month olds legs. It's a little loose, but then again, she's not quite 18 months :-)
When it's all connected chain 1 and start half double crocheting in the side (to make the leg of the sock)
Then do whatever stitch you want to continue working in rounds until it's long enough for you.
I just used single crochets. But if you want a looser look you can use double crochets.
Make it you own!
Besides, who can resist a baby in leg warmers?
