It's that time of year!

the green grass
the smell of barbeques
all tell tale signs of summer
but none more so, than our family going to see a baseball game!

It was my first game at Safeco Field in Seattle!
I finally got to see Ichiro on his home turf! :-)

Makayla has found a new love for baseball this year too!
We bought her a little bat (not shown) and baseball last week and she has been practicing hitting it off of our hands (kind of scary!) she loves it!
She also loves that her daddy calls it her "beatin stick" :-P
See her excitement about finding a new beating stick?
This one is wood, not plastic... I don't think we will be getting THAT anytime soon!

I just love baseball season.
I love the 7th inning stretch when Jordan gets us hot dogs, and we all stand up and sing!
I love that Makayla always cheers when the people around us cheer!
Nothing is cuter than her standing on a seat clapping and going "woooooo"
right along with the rest of the fans!
of course this time, she decided the game was in the middle of her nap time.

Jordan's sister Nicole came with us too.
SO much fun! I love this chick, she always makes me laugh!
And the kids just adore their Aunt "Cole"

It was such a fun day, even though the Mariners lost, it was good to finally make it to Safeco Field after all these years! I'm excited for the next sunday home game!

  4. We were never able to go to an Akron Aeros game because of work but I wish we had gone because minor league games are where it's at!
