I've been having a lot of fun this summer going on walks.
And I've been so lucky to have someone here who wants to go on them WITH ME!
PLUS, she has TWO kids too! And they are right around the same age as mine!
WOOHOO!
Ethan is only 6 months younger than Makayla
And Alex is ONE month younger than Oscar :-)
Generally Brook packs up Alex in her baby wrap, and pushes Ethan in the stroller,
While I put Oscar in his back pack and push Makayla in HER stroller.
We catch quite a few eyes in our little baby train!
Yesterday though, Brook got to try out a REALLY nice 2-baby stroller.
It's made by Phil & Ted and if you have 2 kids and unlimited cash flow
you SO need this stroller! AMAZING!
Very posh eh?
ANYWAY,
so she was sans-baby wrap yesterday.
Also Makayla got to try out HER new stroller, for her doll.
She has LOVED playing with her Aunt Nicole's old stroller whenever she goes to her Grandparents house in Olympia, so I finally caved in when we were at Target and she was piling up dolls and doll "supplies" in a little stroller, and bought her a baby stroller.
SHE LOVES IT, by the way. And wants to take it everywhere.
Including making me "buckle it up" into the seat next to her for her doll.
She's cute. So I don't mind the extra buckle :-)
But, back to my story.
Brook found an AMAZING new park just a couple of blocks away!
Hooray!
(p.s. the loaner Phil & Ted stroller in a nice shade of pink and orange... very cute)
At the park there was a water ball fountain.
So of course Makayla had to kick off her shoes and jump right in, no matter the fact that is was slightly FREEZING that day. A lot warmer than it HAS been, but still very much jacket weather! But can you deny the happiness when this girl sees a puddle she can play in?
Yeah, me neither.
Ethan got in on the water-splashing action too.
Who wouldn't? I mean, I love playing in cold water :-P
HA! Oh, to be a kid and not care about the weather!
This park will become a KILLER water park, come summer though!
There were SO many water-climbing-sprinkler toys there!
And that fun squishy water floor!
There were also other things for Makayla to climb on.
And she has never been one to shy away from climbing on things...
No matter how high!
I forget sometimes to take pictures of Oscar during our outings, because oftentimes he is in his back pack on ME, but he was in the stroller a lot yesterday because Makayla was pushing around her stroller :-) So here's a rare picture of Oscar on our outings!
how fun!! Love the pictures. Oscar's getting so big. Love the pic of him with the green and blue hat--cute cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat stroller looks amazing.

1. Koreans are awesome for celebrating half birthdays.
2. It cracks me up that you elbowed Makayla in the face. I didn't mean that post as a pity post at all but a lot of people took it that way. I think the things are funny now!
3. Is it really that loud in your house? Just after two minutes of the babies "talking" to each other, my head hurt.
Oh...my...gosh!! I just want to kiss his cheeks!!! What a sweet boy. I love it! P.S. I covet that stroller. Phil and Ted know how to do it, huh? Love you guys!
