Still in Texas!
These next set of pictures are a little blurry because they are super zoomed in (apparently we don't have good zooming powers) but they make me laugh so here they are.
We went to a San Antonio Missions game and afterward the kids get to run the bases. Makayla LOVES this part of minor league bsseball, but this was going to be Oscar's first time running too, so we told Makayla she had to stay close to her brother (if your kid is too young to run the bases without you, they don't let them run the bases)
Uhm, Makayla... where is your brother? We told you to stay close!
Here comes Oscar, tripping down the baseline to first base...
Running his little heart out around second base...
There he goes toward home...
Wait... he got some dirt in his shoe...
And that's when they made an exception and let Jordan go back and get him. :-)
And that is the first time Oscar ran the bases.
<3
I really love that little guy.
We went up to Austin for a weekend trip (and baseball...)
We got to walk around the city and go see the capitol building. It was a lot of fun.
And since it was still SUPER DUPER hot, we stopped to play in a fountain too.
Love these little toes! They are growing much too fast for my liking!
I love her laugh and enjoyment too. This could possibly be one of my favorite pictures!
Even Oscar got to tickle his toes in the fountain.
There were a lot of monuments around the capitol building, but the kids loved this one the most. They kept dancing around and hugging the statues. It was pretty funny.
The big seal of Texas
President Bush's painting of when he was the Governor of Texas
My awesomely amazing family :-D
I think the kids had more fun playing on the giant vents (did I mention Texas was HOT this summer?) than they did listening to the tour...
I know everyone says their kids are the best, but I am submitting that my kids are pretty darn awesome too. They make me laugh and giggle so much more than I ever did before!
And of course, there's no point in a road trip during the sumer time, if there's not baseball involved right? (according to Jordan anyway...)
Here's Mak running the bases again...
At this game they let some of the parents start the kids out, then meet them at home plate
Oscar got turned around at the pitcher's mound though so Jordan went out to get him again :-D
We sure do a lot of traveling! Don't worry, we're almost done with Texas...
I'll get caught up one of these days!
Poor Oscar... when he finally gets his first girlfriend, you'll get to show all the pictures of him as a baby winking at the camera, lol
ReplyDeleteYour kids are awesome! Thanks for sharing :}
I am so glad you are catching up on your blog! I love seeing all of the pictures. You look so young!
